Two guys with too much time and friendship for their own good, create a Facebook group for time travel / the end of the world and fall in love with the same (Russian) girl. Everything degenerates in the one man’s dream as he hikes through 1) abandoned cement environments, 2) industrial chaos, 3) sandy beaches, 4) a forest and finally reunites with his friend who suddenly is a rock star. The whole thing is pretty simple, but also charming. I find myself smiling at the memory of the film. The dreamy and intense subconscious scenes are pretty neat but could be a little more thoughtful and consistent. I had some difficulty understanding the point of it all. Then it’s of course elegant when the protagonist is looking intensively for the button to open the door of his prison until he just pushes the door open.
Två killar med för mycket tid och vänskap för sitt eget bästa, skapar en facebookgrupp för tidsresor/jordens undergång och blir kära i samma (ryska) tjej. Allt urartar i den enes en drömlika vandring genom 1) övergivna cementmiljöer, 2) industrikaoz, 3) sandstrand, 4) skog och slutligen återförenas med kompisen som är rockstjärna. Det hela är ganska banalt, men också charmigt. Jag märker att jag ler vid minnet av filmen. Det drömska och intensivt undermedvetna är ganska snyggt men skulle kunna vara lite mera genomtänkt och konsekvent. Jag hade lite svårt att förstå poängen med alltihop. Sen är det såklart elegant när huvudpersonen letar intensivt efter knappen för att öppna dörren i sitt fängelse, tills han bara knuffar upp dörren.
